This is the drawing I submitted for the 1-point perspective interior sketch from a photograph, and I'm SUPER CONFLICTED about it. As you can see the quality simply isn't good - originally I had designed a pretty simple room that only featured a floor, back wall, bed, and furniture. I liked how it was decorated, but eventually I realized that it should be focused on the design of the space, not the decoration. I ended up scrapping my old design just hours before it was due, and tried to make a better one. In the end I'm happy about the design of this room - as a compact dorm room, I think it features more in the way of design than a well-decorated master bedroom. Yet I'm not happy with it in that it was rushed, and the drawing quality suffered for it. Would it have been better to stick with the original, or was this the right decision?

I feel like trying the new design was good but unfortunate it cost the drawing quality due to the short notice change. I like the room. I could see it as a dorm design or maybe even a room on a ship since they tend to be very compact. It's hard to say if it was the right choice with out seeing the original drawing if it was "worth" doing. Hopefully you did still keep the other piece to save for your portfolio, like a comparison of differences between the two with the idea of coming from the same underlay room I feel would still be good to keep.
