You should just drawing skulls with charcoal sometime, it's really fun and exhausting. (I would have drawn the whole skull but I did this in my moleskin and I hate it when the charcoal smears all over the place.)

Hey guys! so I haven't posted yet but I wanted to share some of my photography! In addition to Design Photo is one of my passions. I was in Ap Photography all through high school and loved it. At my high school our photo program was strictly black and white film photography. Here is some of my work! I loved manipulating my prints to make them more than just a photo. In the first and the third photo, I experimented with printing the same photo multiple times and cutting and mounting it to create a different purpose. In the second photo I double exposed the negative which means while I was shooting this role of film I took two pictures on top of each other. In the last one, I simply placed 2 negatives on top of each other in the printing process. Any suggestions of how I can use my knowledge and experience in Photography to improve my designs?

Study Reference - Shades and Shadow

Hi All, this is just a study reference and is quite technical. I don't think we're expecting your drawings to be highly accurate in the shadow casting, rather this is just to expose you to the understanding of shades and shadows in general. For me, the most important thing are the quality of shadings and an "intuitive understanding" of where shadows roughly falls. I hope these help.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Shades and Shadows

Hi All,

Doing shades and shadow could pose quite a challenge, especially when you need to make the object in space looks believable. We're posting a few renderings of different lighting for your reference. Remember, these are for reference, it is best still to explore different angles, etc.

Room Decorations and Random Sketches

The first two are just some quote paintings I did with acrylic paint on canvas this past year for my bedroom and the last one is a caricature of Audrey Hepburn that I sketched!  I want to post some more class related sketches, but I though I'd start with some of the things I've done in my free time!

Past Works

Since I haven't posted anything....Here are a few pieces of art that I did last year in my drawing and 2D design classes. The first one is a drawing I did of my grandpa with Prismacolor colored pencils on black mat board. The second is an ink monotype that I painted on plexiglass with black ink and then rolled through a press onto paper.
