Hey guys, I got a Wacom tablet recently and it is the best decision ever. Anyways, I decided to do a new version of Nike's poster of LeBron's return to Cleveland. I used a combination of Illustrator and Photoshop and this is what I ended up. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

2015-2016 Dates & Data Cover
This is my submission for the 2015-2016 Dates & Data cover design competition, in which students can submit designs for the next cover. More than anything it was first-hand experience with how difficult a composition like this can be - this took me so long and I can still see mistakes! Juggling appropriate content, composition, color, and hierarchy is definitely not an easy task, especially in a diagonal format like this. I'd appreciate any feedback or tips!

Hey guys, I was hoping I could get some help from all of you. Last weekend I drove to Virginia to visit my roommates from last year, and one of them could use some design ideas. Jake's a senior and is planning on starting a nonprofit organization centered around helping kids going through heart problems. Jake has had a couple open-heart surgeries, so this subject is very real to him. He's calling is HAH2SAH, which stands for Have a Heart to Save a Heart. He asked for some logo ideas, and I thought I'd ask all of you.
My first idea was to use the HAH2SAH as a textual logo, since it's pretty catchy and simple.
I don't really like these in terms of color, and I think having the hearts is kinda cheesy, but that can be changed later. I'm just looking for anyone else's ideas. It can be textual, image-based, or a mix of both. I know Jake would really appreciate any input.

Big Ol Sketchdump
I should pay attention in my lecture classes.
Most of these are idea sketches for car dashboards for a 3D modeling project.

Maybe I'll post the 3D project, IDK yet

Kaoru Mori is one of my favorite manga artists, her work is absolutely gorgeous. I'm not kidding, just look at it.
Friendly Reminder: This is all hand-drawn by Miss Mori. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wfENoePp36o&index=1&list=PL9A855710205B3C8A here's a video to watching her work.
Friendly Reminder #2: For all those who don't know how to draw, just practice. Whether it be cartoon, realistic, animals, etc. You'll never get good if you keep complaining that you can't draw. The only way, you'll become good at something is if you practice and practice often.
Warning, I plan on trying this sometime in the future. But seriously, wouldn't you want to try it?

Canada Pieces
Hi! I finally figured out how to post on this blog. These are a couple of the pieces I made for AP art last year. My concentration was investigating Canada through digital and physical media, so I often combined Photoshop with paintings and drawings.
This was done in ballpoint pen
This was done in black ink and watercolor
The deer in this was done with ink, using a stippling technique
Any critiques or comments are welcome!
